महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-46, verse-13

पित्रा मात्रा च पुत्रस्य यद्वै कार्यं परं स्मृतम् ।
प्राप्तस्त्वमसि तत्तात पितृपैतामहं पदम् ॥१३॥
13. pitrā mātrā ca putrasya yadvai kāryaṁ paraṁ smṛtam ,
prāptastvamasi tattāta pitṛpaitāmahaṁ padam.
13. pitrā mātrā ca putrasya yat vai kāryam param smṛtam
prāptaḥ tvam asi tat tāta pitṛpaitāmaham padam
13. O dear one (tāta), you have indeed attained that supreme ancestral position, which is considered the highest duty (kārya) for a son by his father and mother.
