महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-55, verse-7

तं क्रमेण जरा तात प्रतिपेदे महामुनिम् ।
न चान्वबुध्यत तदा स मुनिर्गुरुवत्सलः ॥७॥
7. taṁ krameṇa jarā tāta pratipede mahāmunim ,
na cānvabudhyata tadā sa munirguruvatsalaḥ.

ca anvabudhyata tadā saḥ muniḥ guruvatsalaḥ

7. Dear son, gradually old age befell that great sage (muni). Yet, at that time, that sage, so devoted to his (guru), did not perceive it.
