महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-55, verse-13

तस्या निपेततुर्दग्धौ करौ तैरश्रुबिन्दुभिः ।
न हि तानश्रुपातान्वै शक्ता धारयितुं मही ॥१३॥
13. tasyā nipetaturdagdhau karau tairaśrubindubhiḥ ,
na hi tānaśrupātānvai śaktā dhārayituṁ mahī.

13. Her two burnt hands fell because of those tear-drops. Indeed, the earth (mahī) was not capable of containing those tear-falls.
