महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-55, verse-4

गौतमस्य तु शिष्याणां बहूनां जनमेजय ।
उत्तङ्केऽभ्यधिका प्रीतिः स्नेहश्चैवाभवत्तदा ॥४॥
4. gautamasya tu śiṣyāṇāṁ bahūnāṁ janamejaya ,
uttaṅke'bhyadhikā prītiḥ snehaścaivābhavattadā.
4. gautamasya tu śiṣyāṇām bahūnām janamejaya uttaṅke
abhyadhikā prītiḥ snehaḥ ca eva abhavat tadā
4. janamejaya gautamasya bahūnām śiṣyāṇām uttaṅke
abhyadhikā prītiḥ ca snehaḥ eva tadā abhavat
4. O Janamejaya, among many of Gautama's disciples, a particularly great affection and fondness indeed developed towards Uttanka at that time.
