महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-55, verse-26

यद्दुर्लभं हि लोकेऽस्मिन्रत्नमत्यद्भुतं भवेत् ।
तदानयेयं तपसा न हि मेऽत्रास्ति संशयः ॥२६॥
26. yaddurlabhaṁ hi loke'sminratnamatyadbhutaṁ bhavet ,
tadānayeyaṁ tapasā na hi me'trāsti saṁśayaḥ.
26. yat durlabham hi loke asmin ratnam atyadbhutam bhavet
tat ānayeyam tapasā na hi me atra asti saṃśayaḥ
26. asmin loke yat hi durlabham atyadbhutam ratnam bhavet,
tat tapasā ānayeyam.
me atra saṃśayaḥ na hi asti.
26. Whatever rare and truly extraordinary jewel may exist in this world, I can surely bring that through my spiritual discipline (tapas). There is no doubt about this for me.
