महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-55, verse-33

ततः प्रोवाच पत्नीं स न ते सम्यगिदं कृतम् ।
शप्तः स पार्थिवो नूनं ब्राह्मणं तं वधिष्यति ॥३३॥
33. tataḥ provāca patnīṁ sa na te samyagidaṁ kṛtam ,
śaptaḥ sa pārthivo nūnaṁ brāhmaṇaṁ taṁ vadhiṣyati.
33. tataḥ provāca patnīm saḥ na te samyak idam kṛtam
śaptaḥ saḥ pārthivaḥ nūnam brāhmaṇam tam vadhiṣyati
33. Then he (Gautama) said to his wife, 'This was not done properly by you. That king, being cursed, will certainly kill that Brahmin.'
