महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-54, verse-29

यदि देयमवश्यं वै मातङ्गोऽहं महाद्युते ।
भूत्वामृतं प्रदास्यामि भार्गवाय महात्मने ॥२९॥
29. yadi deyamavaśyaṁ vai mātaṅgo'haṁ mahādyute ,
bhūtvāmṛtaṁ pradāsyāmi bhārgavāya mahātmane.

bhūtvā amṛtam pradāsyāmi bhārgavāya mahātmane

29. If it must certainly be given, O greatly resplendent one, then I shall become an outcaste (Mātanga) and give the nectar (amṛta) to the great-souled Bhārgava.
