ऐन्द्रं वाक्यं शृणु मे राजसिंह यत्प्राह लोकाधिपतिर्महात्मा ।
बृहस्पतिं याजकं त्वं वृणीष्व वज्रं वा ते प्रहरिष्यामि घोरम् ।
वचश्चेदेतन्न करिष्यसे मे प्राहैतदेतावदचिन्त्यकर्मा ॥४॥

4. aindraṁ vākyaṁ śṛṇu me rājasiṁha; yatprāha lokādhipatirmahātmā ,
bṛhaspatiṁ yājakaṁ tvaṁ vṛṇīṣva; vajraṁ vā te prahariṣyāmi ghoram ,
vacaścedetanna kariṣyase me; prāhaitadetāvadacintyakarmā.

O lion among kings, listen to these words of Indra that the great-souled lord of the worlds (Indra) has spoken through me. Either choose Bṛhaspati as your officiating priest, or I will strike you with a terrible thunderbolt. If you do not heed these words of mine, then this (consequence) is what he, whose actions are beyond comprehension, has declared.
