महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-10, verse-21

संवर्त उवाच ।
स्वागतं ते पुरुहूतेह विद्वन्यज्ञोऽद्यायं संनिहिते त्वयीन्द्र ।
शोशुभ्यते बलवृत्रघ्न भूयः पिबस्व सोमं सुतमुद्यतं मया ॥२१॥
21. saṁvarta uvāca ,
svāgataṁ te puruhūteha vidva;nyajño'dyāyaṁ saṁnihite tvayīndra ,
śośubhyate balavṛtraghna bhūyaḥ; pibasva somaṁ sutamudyataṁ mayā.
21. saṃvartaḥ uvāca svāgatam te puruhūta
iha vidvan yajñaḥ adya ayam saṃnihite
tvayi indra śośubhyate balavṛtraghna
bhūyaḥ pibasva somam sutam udyatam mayā
21. saṃvartaḥ uvāca puruhūta vidvan iha te
svāgatam indra tvayi saṃnihite ayam
yajñaḥ adya bhūyaḥ śośubhyate
balavṛtraghna somam sutam udyatam mayā pibasva
21. Samvarta said: "Welcome to you here, O learned one, O widely invoked Indra! This Vedic ritual (yajña) shines brightly today, now that you are present. O Slayer of Vṛtra and mighty one, drink again the soma juice prepared and offered by me."
