महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-10, verse-30

ततो यज्ञो ववृधे तस्य राज्ञो यत्र देवाः स्वयमन्नानि जह्रुः ।
यस्मिञ्शक्रो ब्राह्मणैः पूज्यमानः सदस्योऽभूद्धरिमान्देवराजः ॥३०॥
30. tato yajño vavṛdhe tasya rājño; yatra devāḥ svayamannāni jahruḥ ,
yasmiñśakro brāhmaṇaiḥ pūjyamānaḥ; sadasyo'bhūddharimāndevarājaḥ.

30. Then that king's Vedic ritual (yajña) flourished, in which the gods themselves accepted the offerings. Within that assembly, Indra (śakra), the glorious king of the gods, being honored by the brahmins, became a participant.
