महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-10, verse-33

ततो राजा जातरूपस्य राशीन्पदे पदे कारयामास हृष्टः ।
द्विजातिभ्यो विसृजन्भूरि वित्तं रराज वित्तेश इवारिहन्ता ॥३३॥
33. tato rājā jātarūpasya rāśī;npade pade kārayāmāsa hṛṣṭaḥ ,
dvijātibhyo visṛjanbhūri vittaṁ; rarāja vitteśa ivārihantā.

33. Then, the joyful king, the destroyer of enemies, caused heaps of gold to be made at every step, and distributing abundant wealth to the twice-born (dvija), he shone like Kubera, the lord of riches.
