भृगुरुवाच ।
यस्मात्पदाहनः क्रोधाच्छिरसीमं महामुनिम् ।
तस्मादाशु महीं गच्छ सर्पो भूत्वा सुदुर्मते ॥२२॥

22. bhṛguruvāca ,
yasmātpadāhanaḥ krodhācchirasīmaṁ mahāmunim ,
tasmādāśu mahīṁ gaccha sarpo bhūtvā sudurmate.

Bhṛgu said: 'Because you, in anger, struck the head of this great sage with your foot, therefore, O very evil-minded one, quickly go to the earth, becoming a snake!'
