ततः स देवराट्प्राप्तस्तमृषिं वाहनाय वै ।
ततोऽगस्त्यः सुरपतिं वाक्यमाह विशां पते ॥१५॥

Then, that lord of the gods (devarāṭ) approached that sage to make him his vehicle. Thereupon, O lord of the people, Agastya spoke these words to the lord of the gods (surapati).
