महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-103, verse-9

इत्येतां बुद्धिमास्थाय नहुषः स नरेश्वरः ।
सुरेन्द्रत्वं महत्प्राप्य कृतवानेतदद्भुतम् ॥९॥
9. ityetāṁ buddhimāsthāya nahuṣaḥ sa nareśvaraḥ ,
surendratvaṁ mahatprāpya kṛtavānetadadbhutam.
9. iti etām buddhim āsthāya nahuṣaḥ saḥ nareśvaraḥ
surendratvam mahat prāpya kṛtavān etat adbhutam
9. Adopting this understanding, that King Nahusha, after achieving the great lordship of the gods, performed this extraordinary feat.
