Heroes who sacrifice themselves through fasting or by entering fire attain the supreme destination. This destination is beyond the worlds achieved by those who have performed excellent sacrifices and studied diligently, and also beyond those attained by ascetics. Similarly, people know no other natural law (dharma) than the giving up (tyāga) of oneself.
