भीष्म उवाच ।
इत्युक्तो जनको राजन्यथातथ्यं मनीषिणा ।
श्रुत्वा धर्मविदां श्रेष्ठः परां मुदमवाप ह ॥४५॥

45. bhīṣma uvāca ,
ityukto janako rājanyathātathyaṁ manīṣiṇā ,
śrutvā dharmavidāṁ śreṣṭhaḥ parāṁ mudamavāpa ha.

45. Bhishma said: O King, Janaka, the foremost among those who understand natural law (dharma), having thus been truthfully instructed by the wise one, indeed attained supreme joy.
