महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-287, verse-31

यथा भारावसक्ता हि नौर्महाम्भसि तन्तुना ।
तथा मनोऽभियोगाद्वै शरीरं प्रतिकर्षति ॥३१॥
31. yathā bhārāvasaktā hi naurmahāmbhasi tantunā ,
tathā mano'bhiyogādvai śarīraṁ pratikarṣati.

tathā manaḥ abhiyogāt vai śarīram pratikarṣati

31. Just as, indeed, an overloaded boat is drawn along by a rope in the vast waters, so too, the mind, by its exertion, surely draws the body along.
