महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-181, verse-34

वृत्तो ब्रह्मोत्तरो रङ्गः पाञ्चाली ब्राह्मणैर्वृता ।
इति ब्रुवन्तः प्रययुर्ये तत्रासन्समागताः ॥३४॥
34. vṛtto brahmottaro raṅgaḥ pāñcālī brāhmaṇairvṛtā ,
iti bruvantaḥ prayayurye tatrāsansamāgatāḥ.
34. vṛttaḥ brahmottaraḥ raṅgaḥ pāñcālī brāhmaṇaiḥ vṛtā
iti bruvantaḥ prayayuḥ ye tatra āsan samāgatāḥ
34. The arena became filled with Brahmins, and Pāñcālī was surrounded by Brahmins. Saying this, those who had assembled there departed.
