महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-181, verse-5

ततः कर्णमुखान्क्रुद्धान्क्षत्रियांस्तान्रुषोत्थितान् ।
संपेततुरभीतौ तौ गजौ प्रतिगजानिव ॥५॥
5. tataḥ karṇamukhānkruddhānkṣatriyāṁstānruṣotthitān ,
saṁpetaturabhītau tau gajau pratigajāniva.

utthitān sampetatuḥ abhītau tau gajau pratigajān iva
5. Then, those two (Arjuna and Bhīma), fearless, rushed upon those angry Kṣatriyas led by Karṇa, who had risen up in wrath, just as two elephants (gaja) would charge against opposing elephants (gaja).
