महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-181, verse-31

क्रियतामवहारोऽस्माद्युद्धाद्ब्राह्मणसंयुतात् ।
अथैनानुपलभ्येह पुनर्योत्स्यामहे वयम् ॥३१॥
31. kriyatāmavahāro'smādyuddhādbrāhmaṇasaṁyutāt ,
athainānupalabhyeha punaryotsyāmahe vayam.
31. kriyatām avahāraḥ asmāt yuddhāt brāhmaṇasaṃyutāt
atha enān upalabhya iha punar yotsyāmahe vayam
31. Let a withdrawal be made from this battle involving Brahmins. Then, upon finding them here, we shall fight again.
