महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-145, verse-29

सोऽयं ते बन्धुकामाया अशृण्वन्त्या वचो मम ।
बन्धुप्रणाशः संप्राप्तो भृशं दुःखकरो मम ॥२९॥
29. so'yaṁ te bandhukāmāyā aśṛṇvantyā vaco mama ,
bandhupraṇāśaḥ saṁprāpto bhṛśaṁ duḥkhakaro mama.
29. saḥ ayam te bandhukāmāyāḥ aśṛṇvantyāḥ vacaḥ mama
bandhupranāśaḥ samprāptaḥ bhṛśam duḥkhakaraḥ mama
29. This very destruction of kinsmen (bandhupranāśaḥ) has now come upon you, who yearned for relatives but did not listen to my words, and it is exceedingly sorrowful for me.
