संपद प्रमदाश्चैव तरङ्गोत्तुङ्गभङ्गुराः ।
कस्तास्वहिफणच्छत्रच्छायासु रमते बुधः ॥ ४९ ॥

49. Fortunes and women are indeed fragile and fleeting, like high, breaking waves. What wise person (budha) would delight in their shade, which is as precarious as the shelter beneath a snake's hood?
