योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-47, verse-33

ददाति कणपिण्याकशाकाद्यपि हि याचते ।
तेनैवाभ्यासयोगेन स्वमांसानि ददात्यसौ ॥ ३३ ॥
dadāti kaṇapiṇyākaśākādyapi hi yācate ,
tenaivābhyāsayogena svamāṃsāni dadātyasau 33

eva abhyāsayogena svamāṃsāni dadāti asau
33. asau hi yācate kaṇapiṇyākaśākādy api dadāti.

33. Initially, one gives even humble offerings like rice-bran, oil-cake, or vegetables to those who ask. Through that very practice (yoga), such a person eventually offers their own flesh.
