श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
संसारभारसुश्रान्तः संकटेषु लुठत्तनुः ।
योऽभिवाञ्छति विश्रान्तिं तस्य क्रममिमं श्रृणु ॥ १ ॥

saṃsārabhārasuśrāntaḥ saṃkaṭeṣu luṭhattanuḥ ,
yo'bhivāñchati viśrāntiṃ tasya kramamimaṃ śrṛṇu 1
