योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-47, verse-27

पूर्वं संसृतिवैरस्यमन्तरेवोदितात्मनः ।
जायते जीर्णजाड्यस्य पाकादिव शरत्तरोः ॥ २७ ॥
pūrvaṃ saṃsṛtivairasyamantarevoditātmanaḥ ,
jāyate jīrṇajāḍyasya pākādiva śarattaroḥ 27

27. First, for one whose intrinsic nature (ātman) has manifested from within, a distaste for the cycle of rebirth (saṃsāra) arises, much like old rigidity (jāḍya) manifests in an autumn tree due to its ripening.
