योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-42, verse-5

महाचिति महाकाशे यदिदं भासते जगत् ।
तच्चित्त्वमेव कचति निर्मलत्वं मणाविव ॥ ५ ॥
mahāciti mahākāśe yadidaṃ bhāsate jagat ,
taccittvameva kacati nirmalatvaṃ maṇāviva 5
5. mahāciti mahākāśe yat idam bhāsate jagat
tat cittvam eva kacati nirmalatvam maṇau iva
5. mahāciti mahākāśe yat idam jagat bhāsate,
tat cittvam eva maṇau nirmalatvam iva kacati.
5. This world that shines forth in the great Consciousness (mahāciti) and the vast expanse (mahākāśa) actually manifests as the very nature of Consciousness itself, just as purity inherently shines within a jewel.
