योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-42, verse-25

काष्ठमौनदशाभासं संसारमवशिष्यते ।
यथा निमीलिताक्षस्य रूपालोकमनोभ्रमः ॥ २५ ॥

kāṣṭhamaunadaśābhāsaṃ saṃsāramavaśiṣyate ,
yathā nimīlitākṣasya rūpālokamanobhramaḥ 25

25. The cycle of existence (saṃsāra) persists, appearing like a state of inert stillness, just as for one with closed eyes there is a mental delusion of perceiving forms.

25. סבך הקיום התופעתי שנותר משיל מעליו את אשליותיו ונשאר במצב של שתיקה כשל עץ, כשם שעבור מי שעוצם את עיניו, תעתוע החשיבה של ראיית צורות פג.
