योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-78, verse-11

चिरं विचारयामास शास्त्रमध्यात्मसंमतम् ।
आत्मज्ञानैकमात्रेण संसृत्याख्या विषूचिका ॥ ११ ॥
ciraṃ vicārayāmāsa śāstramadhyātmasaṃmatam ,
ātmajñānaikamātreṇa saṃsṛtyākhyā viṣūcikā 11

11. (saḥ) ciram adhyātmasaṃmatam śāstram vicārayāmāsa (iti yat) ātmajñānaikamātreṇa saṃsṛtyākhyā viṣūcikā (śāmyati).
11. (Someone) pondered for a long time over scriptures consistent with spiritual teachings, (thinking that) solely by means of self-knowledge (ātma-jñāna), the epidemic-like disease called transmigratory existence (saṃsāra)—
