Sri Vasiṣṭha said: 'Listen, O Rāghava, to the principle (nyāya) of the rope-snake (dāmavyāla) and the firm stance (dr̥ḍhasthiti) that is like a terrifying illusion (bhīmabhāsa). Having heard that, do what you deem proper and desirable.'
