योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-25, verse-33

त्रैलोक्यमपि चान्विष्यन्न देवाँल्लब्धवानथ ।
परेणापि प्रयत्नेन निधानमिव दुष्कृती ॥ ३३ ॥
trailokyamapi cānviṣyanna devāṃllabdhavānatha ,
pareṇāpi prayatnena nidhānamiva duṣkṛtī 33
33. trailokyam api ca anviṣyan na devān labdhavān
atha pareṇa api prayatnena nidhānam iva duṣkṛtī
33. atha saḥ trailokyam api ca anviṣyan pareṇa prayatnena
api devān na labdhavān duṣkṛtī nidhānam iva
33. And then, even searching through all three worlds, he did not find the gods, despite his utmost effort, just as a wicked person (duṣkṛtī) would not find a hidden treasure (nidhanam).
