योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-25, verse-34

ससर्ज मायया घोरानसुरांस्त्रीन्महाबलान् ।
बलरक्षार्थमुदितान्कालान्मूर्तिमिव स्थितान् ॥ ३४ ॥

34. Through his magical power (māyā), he created three terrible, exceedingly strong Asuras. They had arisen to protect his strength and appeared like embodied forms of Time (Kāla).
