योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-25, verse-38

कर्मजीवकलां तन्वीमसारां च मनोभिदाम् ।
अपुष्टां कृत्रिमामन्तश्चोदयोदयमागताः ॥ ३८ ॥
karmajīvakalāṃ tanvīmasārāṃ ca manobhidām ,
apuṣṭāṃ kṛtrimāmantaścodayodayamāgatāḥ 38
38. karma-jīva-kalām tanvīm asārām ca manobhidām
apuṣṭām kṛtrimām antaḥ ca udaya-udayam āgatāḥ
38. antaḥ ca udaya-udayam āgatāḥ karma-jīva-kalām
tanvīm asārām ca manobhidām apuṣṭām kṛtrimām
38. And (they) have manifested from within a subtle, insubstantial, and mind-dividing, unnourished, artificial aspect of the individual soul (jīva) bound by actions (karma), arising repeatedly.
