योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-25, verse-3

श्रीराम उवाच ।
दामव्यालकटन्यायो मा ते भूदित्युदाहृतम् ।
ब्रह्मन् किमेतद्भवता भवतापापहारिणा ॥ ३ ॥
śrīrāma uvāca ,
dāmavyālakaṭanyāyo mā te bhūdityudāhṛtam ,
brahman kimetadbhavatā bhavatāpāpahāriṇā 3

udāhṛtam | brahman kim etat bhavatā bhavatāpāpahāriṇā ||
3. śrīrāma uvāca dāmavyālakata nyāyaḥ mā te bhūt iti udāhṛtam brahman,
bhavatā bhavatāpāpahāriṇā etat kim
3. Śrī Rāma said: "May the maxim of the rope-snake (illusion) not be for you" – thus has been declared. O reverend (brahman), what is this (maxim) from you, who removes the sufferings of cyclic existence (saṃsāra)?
