योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-98, verse-10

पतितोऽवश एवाशु महत्यन्धोऽन्धकूपके ।
कृष्णरात्रितमोभीमे नभोगम्भीरकोटरे ॥ १० ॥
patito'vaśa evāśu mahatyandho'ndhakūpake ,

10. Blind and helpless, he quickly fell into a vast, dark, blind well, terrifying with the darkness of a moonless night, and a hollow as deep as the sky.
