संतप्तमार्गसिकतादग्धपादसरोरुहाः ।
हा तात चेति शोचन्तो मृगा यूथच्युता इव ॥ ९ ॥

9. כפות רגליהם העדינות שנכוו בחול הלוהט של הדרך הסבו להם סבל, והם קיננו קראו אבא! כמו צבאים שתעו מהעדר.
