योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-101, verse-1

श्रीराम उवाच ।
किमुच्यते मुनिश्रेष्ठ बालकाख्यायिकाक्रमः ।
क्रमेण कथयैतन्मे मनोवर्णनकारणम् ॥ १ ॥

kimucyate muniśreṣṭha bālakākhyāyikākramaḥ ,
krameṇa kathayaitanme manovarṇanakāraṇam 1

1. Śrī Rāma said: "O best of sages, what is being referred to? Is it a sequence resembling a children's story? Please explain to me, in order, the reason for this description of the mind (manas)."
