तरन्ति मातङ्गघटातरङ्गं रणाम्बुधिं ये मयि ते न शूराः ।

9. Those who cross the ocean of battle (raṇāmbudhi), with its waves like herds of elephants, are not heroes (śūrāḥ) in my opinion. Rather, the true heroes (śūrāḥ) in this world are only those who overcome this ocean of body and senses, with its turbulent waves of the mind.
