संसारमालासु चलाचलासु न ज्ञायते तत्त्वमतात्त्विकीषु ॥ २६ ॥

26. Like lamps that have been extinguished, whose many wicks have been consumed and which were bound by an excess of oil, so too, amidst the unstable and transient cycles of worldly existence (saṃsāra), what is real (tattva) and what is unreal is not discernible.
