वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-24, verse-33

एवमुक्त्वा दशग्रीवः सैन्यं तस्यादिदेश ह ।
चतुर्दश सहस्राणि रक्षसां कामरूपिणाम् ॥३३॥
33. evamuktvā daśagrīvaḥ sainyaṃ tasyādideśa ha ,
caturdaśa sahasrāṇi rakṣasāṃ kāmarūpiṇām.

ha caturdaśa sahasrāṇi rakṣasām kāmarūpiṇām
33. Having spoken thus, Daśagrīva then assigned to him an army of fourteen thousand rākṣasas, who were capable of assuming any form at will.
