वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-11, verse-36

न हि क्षमं त्वया तेन वैरं धनदरक्षसा ।
जानीषे हि यथानेन लब्धः परमको वरः ॥३६॥
36. na hi kṣamaṃ tvayā tena vairaṃ dhanadarakṣasā ,
jānīṣe hi yathānena labdhaḥ paramako varaḥ.

jānīṣe hi yathā anena labdhaḥ paramakaḥ varaḥ

36. Indeed, it is not proper for you to maintain hostility with that Kubera, the rakṣasa. For you surely know how a supreme boon was obtained by him.
