वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-77, verse-8

अस्मिन् विनिहते पापे राक्षसे रणमूर्धनि ।
रावणं वर्जयित्वा तु शेषमस्य बलं हतम् ॥८॥
8. asmin vinihate pāpe rākṣase raṇamūrdhani ,
rāvaṇaṃ varjayitvā tu śeṣamasya balaṃ hatam.
