वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-53, verse-37

नापराध्यन्ति मे कामं वानरा वनचारिणः ।
जातिरस्मद्विधानां सा पुरोद्यानविभूषणम् ॥३७॥
37. nāparādhyanti me kāmaṃ vānarā vanacāriṇaḥ ,
jātirasmadvidhānāṃ sā purodyānavibhūṣaṇam.
37. na aparādhyanti me kāmam vānarāḥ vanacāriṇaḥ
jātiḥ asmatvidhānām sā purodyānavibhūṣaṇam
37. vanacāriṇaḥ vānarāḥ me kāmam na aparādhyanti.
asmatvidhānām sā jātiḥ purodyānavibhūṣaṇam.
37. These forest-dwelling Vānaras do not offend me in the least. For those of our kind, their species is merely an embellishment for our royal gardens.
