इयम् इति निश्चित्य पानभूमौ चचार सः

सः इयम् अन्या इति निश्चित्य पानभूमौ चचारहि रामसमः कश्चित् त्रिदशेषु अपि न विद्यतेअन्यम् नरम् अपि च सुराणाम् ईश्वरम् उपस्थातुम् न।

Having determined that 'this is not she,' he (Rāvaṇa) wandered in the drinking hall. For (Sītā) would not approach any other man, nor even the lord of the gods, since indeed, no one among the immortals is equal to Rāma.
