वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-65, verse-15

तं त्वं निपतितं भूमौ शरण्यः शरणागतम् ।
वधार्हमपि काकुत्स्थ कृपया परिपालयः ॥१५॥
15. taṃ tvaṃ nipatitaṃ bhūmau śaraṇyaḥ śaraṇāgatam ,
vadhārhamapi kākutstha kṛpayā paripālayaḥ.

15. O scion of Kakutstha (Kākutstha), you, being a protector (śaraṇya), should mercifully safeguard him who has fallen to the ground and sought refuge (śaraṇāgata), even though he deserves death.
