वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-51, verse-29

दह्यमाने च लाङ्गूले चिन्तयामास वानरः ।
प्रदीप्तो ऽग्निरयं कस्मान्न मां दहति सर्वतः ॥२९॥
29. dahyamāne ca lāṅgūle cintayāmāsa vānaraḥ ,
pradīpto'gnirayaṃ kasmānna māṃ dahati sarvataḥ.
