वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-51, verse-12

सर्वेषामेव पर्याप्तो राक्षसानामहं युधि ।
किं तु रामस्य प्रीत्यर्थं विषहिष्ये ऽहमीदृशम् ॥१२॥
12. sarveṣāmeva paryāpto rākṣasānāmahaṃ yudhi ,
kiṃ tu rāmasya prītyarthaṃ viṣahiṣye'hamīdṛśam.

kim tu rāmasya prītyartham viṣahiṣye aham īdṛśam

12. Indeed, I am sufficient in battle for all the (rākṣasas). However, for the satisfaction of Rāma, I will endure this kind of treatment.
