वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-45, verse-39

निहत्य तं वज्रसुतोपमप्रभं कुमारमक्षं क्षतजोपमेक्षणम् ।
तदेव वीरो ऽभिजगाम तोरणं कृतक्षणः काल इव प्रजाक्षये ॥३९॥
39. nihatya taṃ vajrasutopamaprabhaṃ kumāramakṣaṃ kṣatajopamekṣaṇam ,
tadeva vīro'bhijagāma toraṇaṃ kṛtakṣaṇaḥ kāla iva prajākṣaye.

39. Having slain that Prince Akṣa, whose radiance resembled Indra's son and whose eyes were like blood, that hero (Hanuman) then approached the very same archway, like (the cosmic force of) time (kāla) having chosen its moment for the destruction of all creatures.
