वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-45, verse-10

स जातमन्युः प्रसमीक्ष्य विक्रमं स्थिरः स्थितः संयति दुर्निवारणम् ।
समाहितात्मा हनुमन्तमाहवे प्रचोदयामास शरैस्त्रिभिः शितैः ॥१०॥
10. sa jātamanyuḥ prasamīkṣya vikramaṃ sthiraḥ sthitaḥ saṃyati durnivāraṇam ,
samāhitātmā hanumantamāhave pracodayāmāsa śaraistribhiḥ śitaiḥ.

10. Having become enraged, and observing Hanuman's irresistible valor (vikrama) in battle, he stood firm and with a composed mind (samāhitātmā). He then attacked Hanuman in the encounter with three sharp arrows.
