वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-45, verse-17

स मन्दराग्रस्थ इवांशुमाली विवृद्धकोपो बलवीर्यसंयुतः ।
कुमारमक्षं सबलं सवाहनं ददाह नेत्राग्निमरीचिभिस्तदा ॥१७॥
17. sa mandarāgrastha ivāṃśumālī vivṛddhakopo balavīryasaṃyutaḥ ,
kumāramakṣaṃ sabalaṃ savāhanaṃ dadāha netrāgnimarīcibhistadā.
17. saḥ mandara-agra-sthaḥ iva aṃśumālī
vivṛddha-kopaḥ bala-vīrya-saṃyutaḥ
kumāram akṣam sa-balam sa-vāhanam
dadāha netra-agni-marīcibhiḥ tadā
17. tadā saḥ vivṛddha-kopaḥ bala-vīrya-saṃyutaḥ
mandara-agra-sthaḥ aṃśumālī

17. Then, Hanuman, with wrath greatly increased and endowed with strength and prowess, like the sun positioned on the peak of Mount Mandara, at that moment burned Prince Akṣa, together with his army and chariots, by the fiery rays from his eyes.
