ततः प्रियतरो नास्ति मम प्राणाद्विशेषतः ।
कृतापराधो बहुशो मम बन्धुर्भविष्यति ॥४६॥

46. tataḥ priyataro nāsti mama prāṇādviśeṣataḥ ,
kṛtāparādho bahuśo mama bandhurbhaviṣyati.

46. There is no one dearer to me than such a person, more so than my own life. Even if he has committed many offenses, he will still be my kinsman.
